COVID 19 RESPONSE

We're living in unprecedented times. Here is how we are endeavoring to keep you safe:

Twin City Massage Therapy is committed to the health and safety of our Clients, families, visitors and team members. There have been no reported cases of Coronavirus Disease 19 (COVID-19) within our facility, and we are taking all necessary precautions consistent with the advice from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to ensure that this remains the case.

Before your appointment you will be asked to complete an updated intake questionnaire sent via email, and there will also be a verbalization of the screening questionnaire in person prior to your appointment. Additionally, we are asking that clients remain in their vehicles upon arrival, as we no longer have a waiting area. Please notify your practitioner via text, and you will be altered once we are ready for you, so that you may proceed inside.

All clients are required to wash their hands before entering the treatment rooms. We realize this may cause disruptions, but please understand the measures we are taking to keep you, your family and our team members safe. Prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, we utilized strict infection control and sanitary procedures daily and we will increase those efforts during this period.

These protocols include:

  • After every session, linens are removed and replaced in the treatment room. This includes all sheets, blankets, table pads, towels and face cradle covers. Clean linens are stored in a closed cabinet.

  • Lotion bottles, skin care product bottles, and hot stone equipment are cleaned with an EPA approved disinfectant and sanitizing cloth.

  • Objects that are frequently handled, and all high touch areas, such as phones, keyboards, toilets, door handles, massage stools and tables, counter tops, and cabinets are regularly cleaned with a disposable disinfectant and sanitizing cloth.

  • Air scrubbers in all treatment rooms

  • Air pads and filters are changed regularly according to the manufacturer's directions.

  • All team members must thoroughly wash their hands with warm water and soap for at least 20 seconds before and after touching clients, before touching clean linens, and after visiting the bathroom.

  • All clients and team members are required to wear a face covering during all sessions. If you have any special needs, please notify us prior to your appointment.

We will keep you updated with the latest information as we continue to monitor the coronavirus pandemic.

Refusal to comply with these protocols will result in your session being terminated, and may result in the forfeiture of any pre-paid services or deposits.

As always, we appreciate your patience and continued patronage.

Sincerely,

Twin City Massage  Therapy
